PRE-WAR

Humans were bountiful, but due to the extreme differences in environments, they mutated and evolved in certain ways, thus paving the way to the creation of the origins. Thousands and thousands of years passed since the first humans, and since then, different clans formed, each within their own respective worlds. The humans, inchlings, florans, merlings, felines, and arachnids of the Overworld, blazeborn and piglins of the Nether, and enderians, elytrians, phantoms, and shulks of The End.

The Nether, though extreme, had less time for anymore mutations to occur--as 1 moment passed, 8 moments passed in that of both the Overworld and The End. The End was scarce of variants due to the distance of the floating islands. The Overworld had the most variety and thus, the most origins.

The inchlings and arachnids retreated into the caves and mines of old, for their combat and movement was best suited in the caves. The felines, the florans, and the humans formed a symbiotic relationship as the felines were capable of scaring off the human's greatest threat, the creepers. The merlings retreated to the waters and created the ocean monuments, and thus many of the settlements are dispersed throughout the lands. Overtime, these settlements begin to increase in size. Sprawling cities interspersed between land and sea, in the End and the Nether, but as the cities grew, so did the unease.

Word spread among the humans that the arachnids formed a religion surrounding a creature related to The End, thus causing them to create the first iron golems. Alongside the felines, the iron golems helped protect the humans, a supernatural approach to patrolling the streets that they lived in. Simultaneously, to keep an eye on the merlings, the humans created guardians to act as surveillance. This caused unwanted side effects, one of which was a curse that caused merlings to turn into mindless creatures bent on murder, what the merlings called the drowned. Meanwhile, the blazeborn and piglins continued to advance their kingdom, however not at all at the rate the Overworld saw.

As for the origins of the End, due to the difficulty of transportation between islands, they developed several ways to traverse the lands. Elytrians with their wings flew between islands, enderians teleported between the islands with little to no difficulty, and phantoms and the shulk created flying ships that helped them travel. Progress of all three realms moved forward, but as the technology continued to improve, the arachnids' devotion towards their unseeing god did, too.

Humans vanished from the streets. Unregistered portals to both the Nether and the End started showing up. The arachnids formed a plan to bring their god to them, and they would not rest until they fully realized their goal.

THE GREAT ORIGIN WAR

The arachnids were in dire straits. Their living situation was not flashy. They lived in caves and were delegated to eat whatever they could find. The inchlings they live with were doing better, and they had a mutual relationship with the inchlings in which the inchlings mined ores, traded with the humans, and fed the arachnids while the arachnids protected the inchlings, but this relationship was not suitable for an entire civilization. And while few found refuge in human settlements, albeit with the wary eyes of the humans, many turned to religion during this time and practiced under the unseeing god.

They believed that if they were able to bring to life their god, they would find themselves in comfort, with no need to worry about food, shelter, or water. However, to bring to reality their god, they would be in need of an exorbitant amount of eyes of Ender. Unfortunately, the only way to procure the ingredients for an eye of Ender were through the blazeborn and the enderians--both origins a recluse in their own worlds. The arachnids came up with the plan to fracture relationships, create friction between the origins, and eventually war, where the only winner was them.

After creating Nether portals, arachnids found the blazeborn told them a secret that would change them forever: that the enderians had been slaughtering thousands of blaze to forward their interests in alchemy. This enraged the blazeborn, but with a level head, they negotiated with the arachnids that they would not touch the Nether during the events of the battle and beyond, to which the arachnids agreed to. Afterwards, the arachnids told them about their plans to wreak havoc to the other realms. At the same time, the portals were found by the humans, thus paving the way to the creation of the first glass golems, heavy hitters at the expense of poor defense.

In The End, under the decision of the ender dragon, the elytrians strengthened their armies. Their weapons and armor increasing in power thanks to the strength that the phantoms provided to their wings. The enderians, capable of teleporting across the worlds, relayed the news of the creation of the glass golems back to the elytrians. The elytrians continued to strengthen their defenses, but with every increase in strength was an increase of paranoia. In fear of the phantoms leaking secrets due to their ability to pass through blocks, they slaughtered many phantoms at the expense of their armor once again being too heavy for their wings. The enderians saw this, and out of concern for both the elytrians and for the protection of the phantoms, they forced the elytrians out of The End to live in the overworld.

Seeing this, the arachnids made their move, forcing their way through The End alongside the blazeborn declaring war.

Many of the enderians were slaughtered, while the surviving clans escaped into the overworld or teleporting into uncharted End Islands. Seeing the sudden killings and increase of enderians on the overworld, the humans leapt into action, deploying their many golems and warriors to fight against the blazeborn. Many blazes stood their ground, killing dozens of humans in flames, but it was not before long that many fell to the blades of the humans and their glass golems.

With the upper hand, the humans banished the blazeborn to their own dimension, destroying the rift in time and space that allowed teleportation to the Nether. Enraged by what the humans had done, the blazeborn began their plans to get back at the Overworld for siding with The End.

The arachnids, on the other hand did what they do best: pick up the scraps. With enough blaze rods and enderpearls to create hundreds of eyes of ender to summon their god, they were victorious in achieving their goals.

POST-WAR

Hundreds of years have passed since The Great War. To be exact, 400 years have passed since The War that shook the lands. However, for those that live in the Nether, only a mere fifty had flown by due to their realm's way of time.

The End, once overflowing with origins of all kinds, is now only inhabited by the few enderians, phantoms, and shulkers. Elytrians, banished to the Overworld, attempt to replicate their old towns by creating flying islands that remind them of their true home. However, with the need to have wings dwindling thanks to the constant ground beneath their feet, the rise of the avians began.

The humans have all but dwindled to a few civilizations. The war may have laid waste to the citizens of The End, but the Overworld felt the shockwaves. After the arachnids gained the eyes of ender, they fought and slaughtered humans under the belief of their god. Even so, the combined might of the humans and the elytrians, pushed back the arachnids at the cost of their progress being laid to waste.

The florans and feline continue to coexist with the humans, but many have gone and made their own clans out of respect for the humans, as they are aware the humans' resources are not how they used to be. As for the inchlings, they continue to mine ore and trade with humans, and while some believe not all arachnids are evil, it is now shunned upon to help them. As for the Merlings, facing near extinction, they continue to flee from the ruins of the war, running from structures they once called home as it slowly gets overrun by the guardians and the drowned.

The blazeborn have it rough, as the wounds of war are fresh. They’ve grown their armies and have strengthened their relations with the piglins. Their thirst for revenge is stronger than ever, but with no working nether portals and the water needed to make obsidian, the way to the Overworld is no easy feat. They continue to wait patiently until someone foolish enough stumbles their way into the Nether using the ruin of an old, broken portal.

The following events are to come.

Fate now lies in the hands of the creatures that walk the realms.
